Shrouded in mystery, this hideous blindfolded creature stalks No Man’s Land, leaving only death and destruction in its wake. With uncanny precision, it picks off enemy soldiers from incredible distances. When it closes in, its monstrous form and savage strength sow terror among the ranks. Some whisper that it is a demon, a creature of pure evil, escaped from the infernal depths. Others claim it is a failed experiment, a twisted creation of the Mendelist Order. But all agree on one thing: it knows every trick of the trade…

Greetings fellow wargamers, and welcome to the trenches!

My name is Giovanni, aka The Sniper Troll. In my real life I’m a Quality Manager, somewhat “veteran” wargamer (at least anagraphically) and being “that guy who reads the rulebook” I’ve always found it natural to be the one who explains people how to play.

Since the launch of the Trench Crusade Kickstarter Campaign I’ve seen many newcomers approaching the game, many of which have never played a miniature wargame before! That’s why I would like to give my contribution to the community by providing a space for anyone wanting to know more about Trench Crusade rules and lore. From in-depth rules explanations and warband building tips, let me guide you through the perils of no-man’s land. Even if you are a seasoned wargamer I hope you’ll find something to enjoy here.

Avvolta nel mistero, questa mostruosa creatura bendata si aggira per la Terra di Nessuno, lasciando solo morte e distruzione sulla sua scia. Con incredibile precisione, abbatte i nemici da distanze inimmaginabili. Quando ingaggia il nemico, il suo aspetto mostruoso e la sua forza selvaggia seminano il terrore tra i ranghi. Mi chiamo Giovanni, noto anche come The Sniper Troll. Nella vita reale lavoro come Responsabile Qualità, sono in qualche modo un giocatore “veterano” (almeno in senso anagrafico) ed essendo “quello che legge le regole” mi è sempre venuto naturale spiegare ai nuovi arrivati come si gioca.

Dal lancio della campagna Kickstarter di Trench Crusade, ho visto moltissimi nuovi arrivati avvicinarsi al gioco, molti dei quali hanno ammesso che si tratta della loro prima esperienza in assoluto con un wargame! Proprio per questo vorrei dare il mio contributo alla community fornendo uno spazio per chiunque voglia saperene di più sulle regole e sull’ambientazione di Trench Crusade. Da spiegazioni approfondite delle regole a consigli sulla creazione delle bande, vi farò da guida tra i pericoli della Terra di Nessuno. E anche se siete giocatori veterani, mi auguro che qui possiate trovare qualcsosa di vostro interesse.
